When we moved to Houston, Texas Nicki was pregnant with Raymond. Too bad they booked us into an apartment on the second floor so Nicki have to climb up the stairs. Soon after we arrived Nicki gave birth to Raymond. She was induced to hasten labor. I am not sure what the reason for the inducement. I also forgot to give Raymond a second name like Omar. So his name is Raymond Calimbas but I told him he can use del Rosario as a middle name which is the practice in the Philippines. My name is Leopoldo Diaz Calimbas because my mother's maiden name is Leonila Diaz. So his full name is Raymond del Rosario Calimbas. He was born on March 14, 1978 one day short of the Ides of March. But March 14 is called Pi day where 3/14 is pi as 3.14.
By this time we are still at the apartment in Sandpoint St. Shortly thereafter the real estate agent in Bolingbrook called and said there is an offer to our house. We accepted. We then started looking for house to move to. Sugarland is a developing neighborhood. There is one highway going through it, highway 6. There is a couple of roads intersecting highway 6 which is Williams Trace and Settlers Park. Talking to the agent of Perry Homes, he said there is a house newly built but the buyer backoff. Are we interested? It is a one story house and we decided to buy it. This is 2843 Field Line Drive. Today Sugarland has become a huge city. There is a big mall, restaurants, stores, parks, and thousand of houses.
